Issue:
We said the market had to cooperate in order for us to go long on BYI,
CSIQ or RT.
Well as you know the market did not cooperate and none of
the trades should have been executed.
This
Issue:
We may not be out of the down-trend just yet. Although, the Nasdaq did
take out the January lows while the Dow and SP500 have not yet. So I
expect we
will be another week or 2 of downside activity. However, I am reluctant
to suggest any downside plays at this time.
I have 2 interesting candidates for longs. That is if the market turns
around this week.
First is BMC Software, BMC, given the way the market went last week
with 4 down days it is remarkable this stock has 6 up days in a row. So
a slight pullback should be expected before entering. If it drops below
the 50 SMA the the potential trade is negated. Upside targets should be
in the 36 to 38 area.

The second possible long candidate is Psychiatric Solutions, PSYS, is
another example of a stock bucking the market trend. It appears to have
ended the downside and has just broken the trend line and the
50 SMA. I except it will pullback to the 30 area which means it should
fail the 50MA and then continue up. Should it fail the 50MA
and then fail the retest of the 50 MA then the trade is negated. The
upside target is the December gap around the 35.50 area which
should be at the 200 SMA. On a longer term basis it should take out the
OCT07 highs in the 41 area. Volume the last 4 days has been almost
twice the normal volume.

The software used to find these candidates is TCScanPlus. You can find
a special link to it on www.tradingourway.com
TCScanPlus requires the Worden Brothers TC2007 program to be open.
TC2007 can be found below or the above link. For TCScanPlus, I have
arranged a special discount price for Tradingourway users but only if
you follow the information on the Tradingourway product page.
TCScanPlus is an outstanding product that is very easy to learn and
will scan for trend line breakout or breakdowns or both which is the
scan I used above. It will also scan for channeling stocks, Fibonacci
levels, patterns, support/resistance, stops, and Worden Brothers
Moneystream and Relative Strength Moving Average. Plus much more. Take
the free trial and try it out. No credit card required. When you
purchase be sure to you the special link on Tradingourway to qualify
for the discounted price.
If you follow stock's correlation to others you want to
checkout the CorrelScan program as well. Great little tool.
I have used both programs for about 4 years and still amazed at what
you can do with them.

Worden
Brothers charting software Telechart, is in my
opinion the best on the market. I have used it since 1996 and their
platinum since since 2004. They offer a 30 free trial so check out the
product and if you have questions you can send me an email.
However, the best thing to do is use the online
forums and post your question in the "Ask the trainer"
the trainers will respond in a matter of hours, sometimes minutes. Plus
the entire user community will respond with their opinions and
suggestions.
Click on the picture below to get all the details on the Telechart
program.
