In the 10-26 newsletter I provided some possible stocks to play on the short-term. Not sure if anyone actually traded them.
SPAR, VDSI, ENH, CHE, LINE, IPCR, SYNM, HK, CXG, AWH, OGE, and CB.

So I thought I'd revisit them to see how are they doing after 3 weeks. To do that I am going to leave the previous image and add the latest one.
Results as of  10/31/08
Watchlist results 11-03-08

Results after 3 weeks
after 3 weeks

Comparing the 2 images we can see we went from having only 1 loser to 3 losers. Most of the others also decline in their gains. The nly major increase was CXG which increased another 25%. SPAR which was the biggest gainer on 10/31/08 is now at about the break-even mark down from the 31% gain. ENH and SYNM lost about 19% while HK and VDSI lost 13%.

Given that we are in a downtrending market these changes were expected. Still, after we weeks we have 8 stocks that have 8% to 47% gains. All of this is purely theoretical. How we do in trading them will vary depending on our trading tyle and skills. In our seminar we show you how to enter, manage and exit trades like these.

However, keep in mind we are still in a major downtrend with this being a short rally. It is begining to look like the DJ30 and SP500 are not going to make it into the ranges I had suggested a few weeks back. The Nasdaq composite did make it to a high of 1785 but on Thursday it along with the SP500 made new lows. Good news, if there is any, is the DJ30 did not make a new low Thursday. I find it interesting tha the DJ30 Friday's close is only  points below the monthly 200 Simple Moving Average. We need to watch what happen this next week as it may give us an idea of when we might expect an up-turn in the markets. Should it fail the long term test of the monthly 200 we could be in for a much longer downtrend.

Previously, I talked about a fire sale for the RAMP program. Well, Andy's at it again for $99 you can get RAMP and install it on all your computers. Now I think Andy has finally cracked. Read this next part and you will see why I say that.

Where else can you get a  Real-time pattern recognition software for a one-time fee of $99.

It is not official yet but "Mark your Calendar" for Jan 5th, 2009 6:00 pm as Andy is giving a free RAMP seminar in Tampa. Details will be available soon.
